John Walker won his first ABT title by defeating Todd Gehm 236-192 at AMF Lancaster Lanes. John is 61 years old and retired from Amtrak. He is married to Susan and they have 31-year-old twins named Teresa and Catherine. John has been bowling since age 8 and currently bowls leagues at Tonawanda, Transit and AMF Mil-Sher Lanes. His high game is 300 and he has an 804 high series to his credit. John was using a Brunswick Vapor Zone drilled by Doug Heim at the National Bowling Store. In addition to bowling John also enjoys hockey. He thanked Jerry Smith for his support, the ABT for coming to Buffalo and AMF Lancaster Lanes for hosting the event. John said that he likes the ABT format. CONGRATULATIONS John!Tournament Notes: We guarantee that a minimum of 1 in 6 entries will cash. This week’s cashing ratio was 1 in 4.1.
