Booker Wells and Eric Laschinger combined for a 1034 handicap total to capture the $500.00 first prize in our doubles event at AMF Mil-Sher Lanes. Both bowlers had just one squad to work with because of travel league commitments but they made the most of the time they had. Eric led the way with games of 244 and 233 while Booker was right behind with 239 and 234 to go along with their 84-pin handicap to produce the 1034 total. It was the second ABT title for both bowlers. Several teams took a run at the top score as the day progressed with Marty Carollo and John Bolognese finishing second at 982 and Robert Heck and Vicky Dixon in third place at 960. CONGRATULATIONS Booker and Eric!Tournament Notes: Our first doubles event was a great success. Everyone seemed to enjoy the format. We look forward to running more doubles events in the future.
