Kevin Sweeney won his first ABT title by defeating Vicky Dixon 241-177 at AMF Airport Lanes.

Stepladder Finals Match One: Vicky Dixon defeated Brian Hoock 199-174.

Championship Match: Kevin Sweeney defeated Vicky Dixon 241-177.

Champion’s Profile: Kevin Sweeney is 37 years old and employed as an engineering manager for An-Cor. He is married to Diane and they have 3 children Emmalee 2, Kevin Jr. 6 and Joshua 14. This is Kevin’s first year back in bowling after a 10-year lay-off and he is currently bowling league at AMF Mil-Sher. He has a high game of 279 and a 729 high series to his credit. Kevin was using a Columbia U-Turn drilled by Mike Hanes at Tonawanda Bowling Center. He thanked the ABT and AMF Airport Lanes for having the tournament. Kevin said that he likes the ABT format and that conditions were nice this week.
