In match one of the stepladder finals Tenno Kullerkupp defeated Jason Weber 242-224 to earn his shot at top seed Chuck Mancabelli. The title match was decided early as Tenno started striking in frame 2 and didn’t stop until the 10th to easily outdistance Chuck Mancabelli 281-177.

Champion’s Profile: Tenno Kullerkupp is 28 years old and is employed by the Tonawanda Highway Department. He is married to Amanda and they have 2 daughters Makenzy and Quinn ages 6 and 4. Tenno has been bowling since age 6 and currently bowls league at Tonawanda Bowling Center. His high game is 279 and his high series of 736 was bowled in today’s qualifying squad. Tenno was using a Columbia Big Shot drilled by Mike Hanes at Tonawanda Bowling Center. He thanked his father-in-law Art for rooting him on this week and his wife Amanda for putting up with his bowling. Tenno dedicated his win to his late stepfather Lou who always encouraged him to do his best. Tenno said he’s glad the ABT came to Buffalo to give average bowlers a handicap tournament to compete in. CONGRATULATIONS Tenno!
