Geoff Wehner won his first ABT title by defeating John Dixon 198-191 at Transit Lanes. In game one of the stepladder finals Geoff Wehner defeated Bob Norgren 177-150 to advance to the title match against top seed John Dixon. In the championship match John carried a 16-pin lead into the 10th frame but missed a single pin spare to open the door for Geoff who struck out to come from behind and win 198-191. Champion’s Profile: Geoff Wehner is 35 years old and drives for UPS. He is married to Ann and they have a 9-year-old daughter named Meghan. Geoff has been bowling since age 10 and currently bowls league at Transit Lanes. He has a high game of 279 and a 704 high series to his credit. Geoff was using a Columbia Game drilled by Jack Jurek at the Bowlers Choice Pro Shop inside Transit Lanes. He thanked his wife for her support, Transit Lanes for hosting the event and the ABT for providing him with the opportunity to compete.
