Peter Mitri posted a 767 handicap series to top the field of 28 bowlers in our sweeper event at AMF Airport Lanes. Peter rolled games of 198, 256 and 238 to go along with his 75 pin handicap for the winning score. Demetrius Moore was a close second at 740 while Jerry Smith finished third at 720. Champion’s Profile: Peter Mitri is 56 years old and employed as a distributor for Empire Merchants North. He is married to Mary and they have 4 daughters, Serafina, Brandi, Mary and Nicole. Peter has been bowling since age 8 and currently bowls league at Brierwood Lanes. He has a high game of 300 and an 801 high series to his credit. Peter was using a MoRich Totally Awesome drilled by Mike Hanes at Tonawanda Bowling Center. He credits his dad Nicholas Mitri as having helped him learn to bowl. Peter thanked the ABT and AMF Airport Lanes for having the event. He said bowling in the ABT is a fun time and it’s like bowling professionally. CONGRATULATIONS Peter!
