*** Fraterrigo First at Kenmore ***

John Fraterrigo won his first ABT title by defeating Steve Highland 198-177 at Kenmore Lanes. In round one of the match play finals John Fraterrigo defeated Jason Weber 252-224 and Steve Highland defeated Charles Tyler 187-174. The title match was close but a pocket 7-10 in the 10th frame for Steve gave John some breathing room as he went on to win by the final score of 198-177.

Champion’s Profile: John Fraterrigo is 43 years old and employed as a machine operator for Multisob Tech. He is married to Donna and they have two children, Dominic and Michael ages 15 and 14. John has been bowling for 25 years and bowls league at Kenmore Lanes. His high game is 300 and he has a 789 high series to his credit. John was using a Columbia Titanium Messenger drilled by Brian Ruszala at Big Daddy’s Pro Shop inside Kenmore Lanes. He credits Brian Ruszala and Jack Schick as having helped him to improve his game. John thanked his mom Noreen, Diane, Donna, Justin, Christian, Dominic and Michael for their support during the finals. John said he plans to enjoy his winnings and that it felt good to be competitive again after being out of the game for a few years.

CONGRATULATIONS John!
